Dr. Jasmine Irani
Dr. Jasmine Irani graduated from University of Pune (now known as Savitribai Phule Pune University with a M. A. (Clinical Psychology) degree in 2013. After attaining her master’s degree, she pursued a post-graduate certificate course in Counselling at Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health, which involved working at government hospital in the psychiatry department. She has recently graduated from Adler University, Vancouver in the Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) program. Ms. Irani is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#18351) with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has been working with CJA since 2021, where she provides psychological assessment, diagnoses, and treatment.
Clinically, Dr. Irani works with adults and children individually. She uses the evidence-based therapy practices such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, when working with clients in treatment. Dr. Irani has expertise in working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, etc.
