Dr. Chuck Jung

Dr. Chuck Jung completed his Masters in Degree in 1981 at the University of Calgary, and returned to complete his PhD in 1992. Dr. Jung is a Registered Psychologist (#1097) with the College of Psychologists of BC. Dr. Jung worked in inpatient and outpatient children mental health settings, as well as outpatient rehabilitation treatment prior to starting his private practice in 1995.

Dr. Jung founded Chuck Jung Associates (CJA) in 1995. CJA has become an established and highly respected psychological service, now comprising of 10 offices. The seasoned team of psychologists and counsellors service the Lower Mainland, from Richmond to Chilliwack. Psychological services is provided across the province via telehealth.

Dr. Jung works with adolescents and adults. Therapeutic techniques utilized by Dr. Jung include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), humanistic and mindfulness. Dr. Jung has expertise in working with the following psychological concerns: adjustment to brain injury, anger management, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, depressive disorders, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and low self-confidence, sleep disorders, somatic disorders, trauma disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and workplace stressors.

Dr. Jung also conducts independent medical legal assessment in personal injury cases, and he regularly attends court to provide expert testimony.
