This expanded service makes psychological and counselling treatments more accessible to individuals who have difficulty leaving their homes for a variety of reasons (physical, medical, psychological, or mobility issues) or for those who live in remote areas in British Columbia.
Telehealth provides assessment, diagnoses, and treatment through interactive audio, video, telephone, email, and/or data communications. Our goal is to provide therapy regardless of our client’s location within British Columbia or other limitations in accessing services.
The need for Telehealth is essential in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Current clients have already or will be transitioned to Telehealth. This needed change is critical to provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients, psychologists and counsellors, and administrative staff. Our administrative staff is at full complement and working remotely, so please do not hesitate to contact us regarding any of our mutual clients.
