Dr. Young received his PhD in Clinical Psychology. He has been a Registered Psychologist (R.Psych # 1781) in BC since 2007 and a Canadian Registered Health Service Psychologist (Reg # 6187 ) since 2008. In addition, he has a LLB (Hons) and a MSc (Law) education. He has been with Chuck Jung Associates (CJA) and provides psycho-diagnostic assessment, independent psycho-legal assessment, and treatment since 2011. He has been qualified by and has testified in the BC Supreme Court as an expert witness. Prior to working at CJA, Dr. Young was a staff psychologist with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) from 2005 to 2011. He has taught at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and University of British Columbia and has been an online faculty at the Thompson Rivers University since 2008.
Clinically, Dr. Young provides psycho-diagnostic and psycho-legal assessments for a number of issues, such as asylum/immigration, employment/WCB, personal injury, and psycho-diagnosis. He works with children, youth, adults, and older adults and provides assessment and treatment in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
