In response to the high volume of referrals, CJA started the FAST-TRACK Counselling subdivision to provide quick, accessible, and quality services to people who have experienced a motor vehicle accident.

What is FAST-TRACK Counselling?

FAST-TRACK Counselling provides quick access to effective, empirically-based counselling services to people who have experienced a motor vehicle accident and are struggling with problems such as depression, general anxiety, post-traumatic stress, irritability and temper outbursts, chronic pain, adjustment to a concussion, and/or brain injury. Our counsellors are experienced in working with both clients and allied professionals involved in the client’s rehabilitation, such as psychiatrists, family doctors, occupational therapists, and lawyers.

Who Provides FAST-TRACK Counselling?

FAST-TRACK Counselling is serviced by highly trained counsellors with at least a Master’s degree, holding designations of Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC) or Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC). Both levels of counselling designations have been approved for funding by ICBC. FAST-TRACK clinical consultant is Dr. Jamie Patel, R. Psych (#2057).

For more information about CCC and RCC designations, visit our FAQ page.

Clients can seek services in one of our ten offices: Vancouver, Richmond, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby, Langley, Surrey, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack.
